Lobi Stars sources have informed SportingLife that Barnabas Imenger Junior was recalled from his loan spell with Kano Pillars to shore up the Pride of Benue’s striking department that presently has most of the strikers down with injuries and some already cup tie.

Lobi still have matches of the Federation Cup and Premier League to contend with this season and with Josiah Maduabuchi, Tony Okpotu, Abdulrahman Bashir all ineligible to play for the team in the Federation Cup as they were not registered for the competition.

SportingLife gathered that Imenger Junior was prevailed upon to return to help the club that launched him to stardom.

Lobi are 16th on the log with 21 points from 19 matches and they have a tough Federation Cup quarter-final encounter with BJ Foundation FC in the coming weeks. They have a league game against Kano Pillars in Kano on Sunday.
