It was a victory return for FC Taraba head coach, Ndubuisi Nduka whose wards defeated Sunshine Stars 1-0 in a Glo Premier League Week 20 tie played at the Jolly Nyame Stadium in Jalingo.
It was a home draw against the same Owena Waves last season that cost coach Nduka his job at the helm of the FC Taraba side and the coach has recorded a win in his return game to the Jalingo side.
Stephen Ada’s 44th minute goal handed the valuable points to FC Taraba and the win according to club’s Media Officer, Martin Odiete has begun their revival from the bottom of the league table.
The Jalingo side are on 16 points from 20 games while Sunshine Stars have lost their top spot to Enyimba. They have 36 points from 20 games to fall to second on the table.
