Heyden chief speaks at London oil, gas confab

The Chief Executive Officer, Heyden Petroleum Limited, Prince Dapo Abiodun, will today speak during a panel discussion on the Survival Strategies for the Oil and Gas Industry in Africa at the Leaders in Africa  Oil and Gas Summit 2015  in London.

The Summit, organised by These Executive Minds (TEXEM), will give executives the insight and skills needed to make an informed and accurate assessment of the opportunities existing within the African markets for their organisations.

According to TEXEM, the rich resource of speakers at the conference will reflect on  current challenges and opportunities within the oil and gas sectors in sub-Saharan Africa. “In particular, the summit will address the need to boost efficiencies and cut costs as a result of the declining oil prices. Moreover, it will assess the investment landscape and the changes arising from the growing mergers and acquisitions activity of minor players. In the context of heightened pressure on the margins of oil and gas companies, strong leadership and governance has become an ever more pertinent issue,” the organisers said in a statement.
