Two brothers held for alleged murder in Ondo

Two brothers, Segun Adeoye and Azeez Adeoye, are cooling their heels in the custody of the Ondo State Police Command over the alleged killing of one Seun Akinsiku in July this year.

Seun, a member of a vigilante group, was murdered by suspected cultists at Oke Agunla area of Ondo West Local Government Area of the state.

A suspect identified simply as Isaiah , who was arrested in connection to the murder was said to have mentioned the two brothers as accomplices.

The brothers were also alleged of complicity in the killing of one Owolabi Oladele, a student of Christian Religious Studies (CRS), at Terere area of New Town in Ondo Town.

They were apprehended by a combined team of the Ondo Development Committee Peace & Safety Corps, the Amotekun Corps, the Oodua Peoples Congress (OPC) and Nigerian Police Force.

Police sources said the brothers were inside the Adeyemi College of Education at about 4:30 pm.

According to the source, “we mobilized to the school in conjunction with policemen and men of the Amotekun Corps.
