NPFL title would be a dream come true, says MFM’s Emiloju

MFM defender, Julius Emiloju believes it would be a dream come true to win the Nigerian Premier Football League title in their debut campaign.

The Olukoya Boys have impressed in the current NPFL season with the team topping the table.

While Emiloju admits that they are trying to savour every moment of their run, he is keen to catapult the Fidelis Ilechukwu-led team to a championship win at the end of this term.

The 18-year-old revealed he is completely happy at MFM but would like to listen to the League Shield music in his life.

“If we can show more ambition to move to the next level, that would be a dream come true. We are hoping to maintain the run and make our followers happy,” the all action left-back disclosed.

“It’s good we are on top of the ladder, but it’s important and go in the right direction. The results have been fantastic. We are happy about our achievement so far in the six week old 2016 season,” he posited.

“Most of the lads are seen by observers of the round leather game as rookies, now football followers in the country have started paying attention to us. We hope to work harder to maintain our current status.”

MFM are currently at the summit of the Nigeria Professional Football League table with 13 points from six matches.
