Plateau United goalkeeper, Isa Danladi wants his team to move out of the bottom half of the Nigeria Professional Football League table urgently.
The Jos-based outfit are 17th on the log and have only managed four wins this season.
“It is a cause for concern. This is not where we want to be,” Danladi told Goal.
“We have to start collecting three points and we have to do this now. We can’t afford to say it’s still early in the season. For me it grows late.
“We cannot wait until the last 10 games to start fighting for points, that must start now.
“This break was good for us. We had time to iron out problems and to work on it. As a team we know what is expected and as individuals we are committed to taking this club up to where it belongs.
“We just have not been able to score and that has been our biggest problem. But like I said we have worked hard this past week and we are focusing more on scoring than anything else.
“We have got to attack more. We can create chances but upfront we just have to be ruthless. I have the utmost confidence that we’ll hit our stride soon.”
