THE Agbon Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Stakeholders at the weekend called for transparency and internal democracy for the party to win all its forthcoming elections scheduled to hold at Ethiope East local government area of Delta state.
The PDP stakeholders meeting which was convened at the instance of the Delta state Commissioner for Commerce and Industry, Barr May Iyasere, was summoned for the purpose of unity among the PDP family, to discourage attitude of pull-him-down syndrome and how to help the party win future elections.
Earlier, the leaders from the eight wards of Agbon, Chief Young Esiekpe, Chief Michael Adiotomre, Hon Tony Oboroh, Hon. Steve Eruotor, Barr Arthur Akpowowo, Dr. Lucky Oteheri and others had appealed to Gov. Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa to redirect the state party chairman, Barr Kingsley Esiso to return the local government party chairman back to Agbon clan.
The PDP leaders had also pointed out that in Ethiope East, that there are three zones that make up Ethiope East namely: Agbon 1, Agbon 2 and Abraka clan, adding that it is unfair for some persons from Agbon clan to connive with Abraka people to give what belong to them to Abraka clan.
