Seyi Tinubu, partner opt for private wedding

Son of National Leader of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Seyi Tinubu and his partner, Layal Lade Holm, have decided their forthcoming wedding will be a strictly private affair.

In a statement yesterday titled Notice of change, the duo said:

“After a good deal of reflection, Seyi & Layal have decided that it is more in keeping with our most personal wishes to hold our wedding as an intimate and private event.

“This is in keeping with how we want to remember our special day and how we want others to remember it.

“This means our wedding ceremony will return to its original plan.

We want our wedding to be a special and heartfelt ceremony with our family in attendance and the reception will be one where we gather those close and dear to us to help celebrate our marriage.”

The intending couple stated the occasion would no longer hold in Lake Como, Italy, as earlier planned, appealing to friends to bear with the unintended inconveniences.

The statement added: “Thus, you may want to amend your schedule and travel plans if you had made arrangements to travel to Lake Come for the ceremony.

“Please accept our deepest and sincere apologies for any inconvenience caused by this change.”

While regretting many might have made arrangements based on the prior information, they called for understanding, stating, “we have made this change that this can truly be our special day as we had always envisioned and dreamed about.”
