In its quest to ameliorate the youth’s unemployment, MODT Interiors, a subsidiary of Heaven Square Limited organised a capacity building seminar for interested members of the public over the weekend in Lagos.
Addressing the packed audience, Toyin Akinlade a seasoned customer service expert charged the participants to be equipped with all they need to win their customers. She said: “A burger is a burger is a burger. Meaning there is nothing new in what anyone out there is offering so there is need for new business owners to differentiate their products with value added services and excellent customer service experience.”
On his part, Taiwo Fajolu a business and sales expert emphasised the importance of business planning and how to convert their prospects into clients and achieve repeat patronage.
Justifying the need for the event, Mrs. Ibinike Fajolu, one of the organisers, said she was inspired to engaged men and women in enlightened entrepreneurship through highly intensive, productive, value driven and execution- oriented training.
“This is to help participants engage, from theory to practical, the possibilities in the interior design business in order to expose them to the limitless opportunities in the creative design industry all over the world,” she said.
MODT, she stressed, has a major interest in empowering budding entrepreneurs all aimed at defining growth in the emerging economies and particularly Africa. “With the growing and expanding population of the middle-class, especially in Nigeria the middle-class has grown six times since year 2000 due to the entrance of democracy and the massive involvement in private investment – the opportunity is quite enormous for those that would pay attention to the details in the creative design industry by learning the business professionally in order to be able to render invaluable service: This is what the training platform pursue vigorously to achieve.”
