Coach Mansur Abdullahi has said his relegation-threatened Warri Wolves will give everything right up to the final season to ensure they stay up.
Wolves are 17th on the Nigeria premier league table with 39 points with five rounds of matches till season’s end.
“We will fight till the last day of the league. We still have five matches to go three home and two away matches,” Mansur told AfricanFootball.com.
“If we can pick any away win, we can escape the drop.
“It is rather disappointing that a team who finished second last season in the NPFL are now struggling against relegation. This is what you get when you lose your first team players to other clubs.”
Team spirit has also hit an all-time low as they have not been paid for the past four months.
