Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike yesterday said his administration has created the right platform for Foreign Direct Investments (FDIs) in the Agricultural sector.
He also said the government had begun the preliminary process for the construction of a specialist tertiary hospital.
Wike spoke yesterday at the Government House in Port Harcourt, the state capital, when he hosted the Minister for Africa at the United Kingdom (UK) Foreign and Commonwealth Office, Mr. Tobias Ellwood, and the British High Commissioner in Nigeria, Mr. Paul Arkwright.
The governor noted that the development of basic infrastructure across the state was meant to attracting foreign investors.
Pledging to always cooperate with the UK to enhance the development of Rivers State, Wike assured that his administration would grant access to land, wit the issuance of Certificates of Occupancy (C of O) to willing investors.
