Buhari’ll take Nigeria out of recession, say APC stakeholders

All Progressives Congress (APC) stakeholders in Oyo Central Senatorial Zone have expressed strong conviction on the ability of the President Muhammadu Buhari administration to take Nigeria out of the woods and place the country on the path of abundance and economic well-being.

Speaking at the district’s meeting at  the NULGE Hall, Afijio Local Government Area Secretariat, Jobele, the District Chairman, Emmanuel Oyewusi, appealed to members enlighten the populace on the damage done to the country under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and also assure them on the resolve of the APC government’s to clear the mess left behind by the immediate past government.

 Oyewusi agreed with the submission of a former state lawmaker, Matthew Abioye and expressed delight in the efforts of Governor Abiola Ajimobi to consolidate on his achievements to take the Pacesetter State to loftier pedestal.

In his own remarks, APC State Chairman Akin Oke, appreciated members for their patience and understanding since the last general elections. He assured that more dividends of democracy would  come their ways as a result of the contributions to the party.

He alos saluted the determination of the governor to implement the law creating Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs), which he noted would hasten development to the grassroots.

Afijio council chief Lukman Anwo, who spoke for his colleagues in 10 other councils, gave lauded the governor  and the APC leadership in the state for working together to make life more meaningful for members and the people of the state.

The party faithful reiterated the position of the State Executive to sanction members at all levels from sponsoring, endorsing or supporting any prospective aspirants ahead of the 2019 general elections.
