PDP chieftains join APC

Scores of chieftains of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Idanre Local Government yesterday joined the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Their leader, Afolabi Adesoji, who was the former Chairman, Idanre Local Government and former Special Assistant to Governor Olusegun Mimiko on Political Affairs, said they dumped the PDP to enable them work for the success of  the APC candidate, Mr. Rotimi Akeredolu.

Adesoji praised Akeredolu, describing him as a man of integrity, who has the attributes of transparency and accountability.

 These, he said, are the starting point for good governance.

He added that the APC flag bearer has what it takes to govern the state and they are going to work for his success in the election.

Welcoming them, the Chairman of Aketi Campaign Committee, Ade Adetimehin, said they would be treated as equals in the party.
