The Enugu State Government will now host the reigning league champions, Rangers International FC in the first week of November after players and coaches of the team have returned from their two weeks break.
The State Commissioner for youth and Sports, Charles Ndukwe who made this disclosure in Enugu stated that Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi would like to host all players, officials and coaches of the team together including injured Ifeanyi Egwin who is expected to have resumed his rehabilitation programme by then.
Rangers won the league title few weeks ago after a 4-0 thumping of El Kanemi Warriors at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu after 32 years of wait and the Flying Antelopes will represent Nigeria in the CAF Champions League next season.
