The National President of the Oodua People’s Congress, OPC (Reformed), Chief Dare Adesope has reiterated the commitment of the group to providing adequate security in Yorubaland.
Adesope also maintained that the reformed OPC would do everything possible within its powers to sustain the objectives of the organisation in promoting the culture and tradition of the Yoruba people,.
”Our aim is to continue to uphold the OPC objectives, which include promotion of our culture, tradition, unity and security among the Yoruba. Security issues like the increasing cases of kidnapping and Fulani herdsmen’s attacks in our communities are worrisome.
“On our part we know what best to do to curb these attacks and whether the government engages us officially or not, we will do our best to ensure that there is peace and security in Yoruba land,” he said.
