A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Olorunnimbe Mamora, has advised Ondo State governor-elect Rotimi Akeredolu to avoid distractions and fulfill his campaign promises.
Mamora, in his congratulatory message, said Akeredolu should take advantage of belonging to the same party as the President to bring maximum benefit to the people.
He said: “A new era has dawned in Ondo State politics. He should get started immediately. He must keep his eyes on the ball, unite the party and the people, avoid distractions and keep faith with his campaign promises.
“I joined millions of our party faithful, friends and well wishers in congratulating Akeredolu.”
He recalled that he and Akeredolu had come a long way having been friends and student activists at the then University of Ife now Obafemi Awolowo University in the early 70s.
