Muhammadu Bindow of Adamawa on Wednesday approved the appointment of Abdullahi Isa Dasong as Amna (emir) of Shelleng in the State.
The appointment of the first class emir is conveyed in a statement by the Commissioner for Information, Malam Ahmad Sajoh in Yola.
The Dasong, until now the District Head of Shelleng, succeeds Abdullahi Managina, who passed away on Sept 28, 2016, after a protracted illness.
Dasong is the 21struler of Shelleng emirate.
