Adabale Consulting Limited (FmACL) is partnering The Nation on community development in Lagos State.
Speaking during a visit to the newspaper’s corporate headquarters in Lagos yesterday, the firm’s Managing Consultant, Olufemi Adabale, said the partnership would engender community relations reporting.
He said FmACL was mainly known for community relations, corporate governance and corporate social responsibility.
Adabale noted that FmACL came up with an initiative, “Community Tools and Sensitisation” (CTS), to identify, empower and train people in vulnerable communities.
The consultant said CTS would meet people’s needs at the grassroots, coach community folk within the channels where their needs can be met, tour vulnerable communities and sensitise them on how to receive attention, and mobilise communities on self-help, through capital exploration.
Adabale, who also is chairman and founder of CTS, said the 2016 CTS focused on “wellness and sanitation” at Makoko community.
He said the firm trained over 250 women.
The consultant added that in light of this, the firm will on Friday hold a “media tour and sensitisation” in Takwa Bay Community Hall, Onisiwo Island, Lagos.
