I killed my mother over sex demand – Okada rider

A commercial motorcycle operator, Segun Ogunlusi, on Tuesday explained why he killed his mother at their home in Ogijo area of Ogun State.

33- year old Ogunlusi said he stabbed his 60 -year old mother, Mrs. Abimbola Ogunlusi, to death and buried the corpse in a shallow grave to permanently free himself from incessant incestuous sex demand by the mother.

The motorcycle operator, who made this known to journalists at Eleweran, the headquarters of the Ogun State Police Command, said until the killing, his mother had pestered him to no end with demand for sex.

He was one of the 24 suspects paraded before journalists by the state Police Commissioner, Ahmed Iliyasu, and whose offences ranged from robbery, cultism, stealing, murder and kidnapping, among others.

Ogunlusi noted that after he hacked his mother to death, he dabbed her remains with kerosene but later buried her when the corpse failed to catch fire.

“My mother kept saying if I had sex with her I would be free. On a particular Tuesday morning, when two of us were at home, she was in the kitchen, I walked up to her and stabbed in the stomach and she died.

“I poured kerosene on her corpse in a bid to burn her but it did not catch fire. Later, I dumped the corpse in a soakaway pit,” he said.
