Senator Bode Ola certainly has a lot to be thankful for. Not only is he a force to reckon with on the political terrain, especially in the South West, just a few weeks ago, the ever-smiling senator clocked 60 years.
As he entered the club of 60-year-olds in style, he seized the opportunity to launch a book that draws on his decades of experience in the international and local political battlefields.
Senator Ola was born on November 12, 1956. He obtained an HND in Accountancy in 1962 and proceeded to serve the nation in various capacities in the foreign service between 1983 and 2004. He then joined politics and contested elections to represent Ekiti Central. He was declared the winner by the courts in 2009 and went on to fruitfully represent his constituency.
