‘The Giant’ (Omiran) to premiere in London

The Giant” (Omiran), an action-packed movie which stars Femi Adebayo, Tolulope Oke and others including Funsho Adeolu, Muyideen Oladapo and Rose Odika, is billed to be unveiled to the public in a London premiere in February and afterwards, made available to movie fans in Nigeria.
According to Oke, the London premiere would be attended by the crème de la crème of the African community in the United Kingdom.
“All hands are on deck to ensure a hitch-free success of the premiere,” said Oke who is currently in London making preparations for the premiere.
“It promises to surpass my previous feats when I premiered Bi Ala and Adun also in London in 2012 and 2014 consecutively.”
A sneak preview of the movie, shot in different locations in Ibadan, reveals Adebayo, (Raphael Olakunle-Collins) as a dare-devil drug baron who tries desperately to keep his illicit venture away from the prying eyes of the police while presenting a front; and Oke (Ayinke), a besotted lover who stumbles on his hidden secrets. The web of plots is enthralling as the audience waits with bated breath for its finale.
The premiere is supported by Naija FM Radio Station, London and notable event-management company-Godfather Promotions, London.
Oke attended University of Lagos where she bagged a degree in Sociology and Obafemi Awolowo University, where she obtained a diploma in Dramatic Art. Oke started acting as a career in 2006. She was the star actress in Zone 222, an M-Net TV series and she was in Dazzling Mirage, which was directed by respected movie producer, Tunde Kelani. Her list of movie credits includes Agidi, Kutu Kutu, Tee Kay, Orin, Simisola, Efin, The Score and Eje, to mention a few.
As a producer, She has also produced Bi Ala, Adun and Home Sick-a London production. The Giant is her fourth production.
