The Oyo State government has dismissed a video showing a woman spraying money. It said the woman involved was not Governor Abiola Ajimobi’s daughter.
In a statement by Commissioner for Information Toye Arulogun, the government said: “For about a year now, a video showing a lady spraying money has been trending on the internet.
“When the purported video first hit the internet, some individuals labeled the lady as Governor Abiola Ajimobi’s daughter.
“This allegation was addressed. Majority who accessed the video recognised and accepted that the image did not resemble any of the governor’s daughters.
“However, some social media comical actors have decided to bring back the video and in their malicious intention, claimed the lady is Ajimobi’s daughter.
“We write to state that the lady in the video is not Ajimobi’s daughter.
“We urge those spreading this to desist from such. The pictures of Ajimobi’s daughters can be sourced from the internet for comparison. There is a clear distinct.”
