ABS FC defender Ajanah Chiendu is looking forward to a tough game against in-form Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries Football Club (MFM FC) in today’s Match-Day 7 fixture at the Ilorin Township Stadium.
The 19-year-old has formed a solid partnership with Ernest Governor in the heart of defence for the newly promoted Saraki Boys as they have conceded just one goal at home this season.
However, Ajanah who had previously faced MFM during his time in the Nigeria National League (NNL) is wary of the Lagos based team after they picked maximum points on the road against Sunshine in Akure last weekend.
“I must be sincere – MFM will be a tough game for us because they are a very good side,” Ajanah told SportingLife.
“So far we have been solid at home and I thank our fans for that because they give us the extra energy we need. They are simply the best and we want to beat MFM for our special fans.”
ABS currently sit fourth with 10points while MFM are placed second with 13points, just one behind league leaders Plateau United.
