The abundant talents in Nigeria would be discovered with the PSG IRUKKA FOOTBALL Talents hunts scheduled to take place in 15 cities and the Federal Capital territory,Abuja.
According to the face of the project and former Super Eagles coach Samson Siasia,” I decided to align with the PSG IRUKKA Football Talent Hunt because of its plans to encourage players to combine football with academics. Everyone may not make it in football , but if they can concentrate on other vocations they can become successful.”
Siasia affirmed that ” There are many stars in Nigeria waiting to be discovered. I believe we can discover new Messi, Okocha or Ronaldo in the talent hunt programme. We will move to all the major cities where these talents are hidden. We will get the best available players who will become tomorrow’s super stars . My experiences as national team coach would enable me and other scouts the opportunity to pick the best.
Siaone enjoined organisers to put all logistics in place for a hitch free screening.
Major cities like Lagos, kano, Kaduna, Porthacourt, Benin, Owerri, Ekiti, Aba,Jo’s, FCT Akwa are some cities where screening of players would take place.
