Rivers United are looking at the possibility of adding two or three
more players to their squad ahead of the CAF Confederation Cup group
stage which starts this weekend with their tie with Club Africain of
Tunisia away.
The technical manager of the team, Stanley Eguma told SportingLife
that the Pride of Rivers are doing everything possible to ensure that
they are at their best before the commencement of the second tier club
competition and that they are hoping to strengthen their squad in the
competition before their first match against the Tunisian side this
weekend.
Rivers United have promised not to take Cynosure FC for granted in the
final of the 2017 Rivers Federation Cup holding today in Port
Harcourt.
Eguma told SportingLife that Cynosure FC have proven that they will
be a tough nut to crack with their defeat of Go Round FC who are the
defending champions and that he has informed his boys to take the game
seriously to ensure that they reclaim the title they lost last year.
