Chief David Attah, the former Chief Press Secretary to the late Head of State, Gen. Sani Abacha, is dead.
Attah died in a Jos hospital after a protracted illness.
He was 71.
Sympathisers have been trooping to the ex-CPS residence in Makurdi, Benue State, to console his family.
The deceased brother, Mr. Elvis Attah, described the late government’s spokesman as a humble gentleman who loved humanity.
Elvis, who is the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Information, said the deceased was in hospital for more than two months before he died.
