Geramany is the the highest ranked team in the world in the latest FIFA ranking which was released by the world governing football body today.
The Germans returned to the top of the FIFA/Coca-Cola World Ranking for the first time since being knocked off the top spot exactly two years ago.
However, Nigeria slipped from 38th in the world to 39th position having lost fifteen points.On the continent, the Super Eagles had to settle for sixth position having being fourth in the previous ranking.
Egypt is the best team on the continent in today’s FIFA ranking while Senegal,Congo DR, Tunisia and Cameroon are amongst the top five on the continent.
Meanwhile, the next FIFA/Coca-Cola World Ranking will be published on 10 August 2017.
