NIGERIAN female percussionist and Ekwe exponent, Anu with the stage name, Anu The Lady Ekwe, has released a new single titled, Molewa.
Anu, whose first single, ‘The king Kongman,’ released in 2014, announced her as a soulful and romantic artiste, as the theme was centred on love, continued on that same plane in her second single, ‘Omalicha Uwa.’ The graduate of Economics and former beauty queen (Sisi Eko), through the collaboration of Atunda Entertainment and Flipcebeats Lagos, has replicated the same theme in her latest effort.
Besides being a songstress, Anu is also a songwriter and choreographer and her dexterity on Ekwe, a traditional percussion from Eastern Nigeria casts her as a talented artiste.
She was recently on tour of Turkey with Atunda Entertainment and also won acclaim and awards at the African Drum Festival in Abeokuta, Ogun State last year and this year as well.
