Clifford Varsity to promote quality

The authorities of Clifford University, have said the school will develop an educational programme anchored on the service of humanity and God.

Clifford University is a new private institution in Abia State.

Deputy Vice Chancellor Prof. Olantinji Onyerinde, in a statement in Port Harcourt Rivers State capital, yesterday, said the school pegged its 2017/2018 cut-off mark at  120  as stipulated by  the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, (JAMB).

He said  “the university runs a programme, called JUPEP, for students unable to meet the JAMB scores in order to remedy their deficiency and get admission within eight months of the programme.”

He urged those seeking admission to take advantage of the programme, adding that JUPEP will start by October and end next June.

Onyerinde said the school earned full accreditation from the NUC in three faculties;  Management, Humanity and Sciences, stressing that the faculties have 15 departments.

The deputy vice chancellor noted that the university is designed to develop mental and social needs of students.

He added that students will be trained to step into the future as great men and women, stressing that “education is a legacy of every child, our mission is to promote quality and qualitative education”.

University chaplain Dr Dave Nyekwere explained that the school fees is the least among private universities in the country, adding that students can pay in four instalments per  session.
