THERE is no gainsaying the fact that Governor Akinwunmi Ambode has turned Lagos State into a huge construction site, especially his intervention in giving facelifts to rural and inner roads in the neighbourhoods.
However, the roads in the White Sand area of Isheri- Oshun, Igando-Ikotun Local Council Development Area, are deplorable and should be given urgent attention.
As concerned residents, we have tried a number of times to fix the roads, but our efforts have not yielded good results, hence, we want the state government to come to our aid.
Also, the local government area has not been forthcoming in terms of rehabilitating the roads in our community, but we believe that Gov Ambode is a responsible and responsive governor. He should extend his magic wand to our community and save us from perennial sufferings arising from the poor situation of the roads.
