YUNG L DROPS DEBUT ALBUM

CHOCOLATE City and Grip Music artiste, Christopher Omenye, better known as Yung L, has released his debut album titled ‘Better Late than Never’.

The 16 track album which was produced by Chopsticks and TUC had a listening session at the Mitsubishi Showroom, Victoria Island, Lagos recently with celebrities including Ehiz, Big Brother Naija winner Efe, D tunes and a host of other in attendance.

“This is something I should have had a long time ago but I’m excited even though it took a while. So far it’s been good. I’ve been working on it for about six months, even joined Chocolate City. They just put hands together to make it happen. But I’m excited and that’s why it is titled ‘Better Late Than Never’ because finally even though it took this long it is still better late than never,” he said.

Speaking further on the album the Jos breed artiste said; “The message in the album is about where I have been, where I started from to the struggle I’ve been through. If you listen to the first track on the album it’s called Where You Dey. It’s for guys that are just showing up now that we are there.

“So it’s a struggle from where I started from to where I am now. People always think it was easy because I roll with MI and Ice Prince, but they have their careers. They always told us look Omo na lagos be this o you gast go hustle for yourself,” he said.

Yung L however says that his fans are his number one motivation that makes sure he does good music.
