Social responsibility to her stakeholders and community is beginning to assume a notable strategy of the rising micro lending organisation, Citygate Global, so says the erstwhile pioneer Managing Director of the company, Mr Seun Durojaye, as the firm celebrates her 10th year of doing business in Nigeria.
The company which was founded in June 2007 as a microfinance institution has within 10 years of operations provided several employment opportunities to Nigerians, and at the moment has within her employ more than 200 graduates in her outlets spread across the country.
Further to her participation in giving back and being socially responsible to her communities, Citygate Global has renovated four blocks of classrooms at the Anglican Comprehensive High
School, Ikoto, in Odo-ogbolu Local Government Area of Ogun State. tomorrow. By the renovation of these blocks of classrooms with befitting modern facility, the students will be at par with their peers in the big cities like Lagos and they will be further empowered to excel in both their studies and other aspects of life.”
