Dejare Adegbenro becomes Otunba Laje

Lagos big boy, Dejare Adegbenro, is currently enjoying a purple patch. The chief executive of Balmoral International Limited had never had it so good.

On top of his rising profile as the heir to two legendary political dynasties, he is set to be installed as the new Otunba Laje of Owu Kingdom.

The enterprising dude whose grandfathers were late Dauda Adegbenro, a former Premier of Western Region and Pa Alfred Rewane, one of the heroes of democracy in Nigeria, will be bestowed with the high profile title on January 20, 2018 by Oba Adegboyega Dosunmu Amororo II, the Olowu of Owu Kingdom.

High society will be on hand to celebrate with Adejare, who will become the first to hold the title in the kingdom.

Following news of the development, the high-flying son of Egba high chief, Niyi Adegbenro, has become the toast of the social scene with members of the high society falling on one another to congratulate him.
