Nigeria counselling students hold maiden southwest zonal seminar

The Students Counselling Association of Nigeria (SCASSON) hosted members from various schools in the country to her maiden Annual Zonal Seminar – tagged Southwest Zone Ibadan 2017 – which held at the University of Ibadan, (UI).

The 2-day seminar themed
”Counselling and the Role of SCASSON as a Student Body ; Sub Theme – Effect of Culture on Marital Sustainability,” held between December 15th through 16th.

The lecture was delivered by Mr. Sulaiman Mohammed Ridwan from
EKSU-AOCOED (Ekiti State University) (Adeniran Ogunsanya College of Education) Campus, Lagos.

The seminar drew delegates -Majorly students of Guidance and Counselling (G&C) – from higher institutions such as Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU),
Ekiti State University (EKSU), Adeniran Ogunsanya College of Education (AOCOED), Federal College of Education (special) FCESUI, Oyo and Ignatius Ajuru University of Education, (IAUE), Port Harcourt.

The SCASSON chapters from the respective institutions were also represented.

The programme climaxed with a novelty match which was played by the male delegates of the participating institutions.
