CHAN 2018: Rabiu Ali starts from bench

Super Eagles head coach,  Salisu Yusuf has made one last change to the Super Eagles squad ahead of this evening final group C game against Equatorial Guinea at the Agadir, Stadium, Morocco.

According to the team’s list made available, Kano Pillars midfielder, Rabiu Ali was the only missing player in the squad that defeated Libya in the second group game on Friday.
Ali, who suffered a knock injury in the last game, made way for Ekundayo Ojo.Ali will start from the bench.

However,  Yusuf had told spotinglife  at a press conference that Ali has been given clean bill of health to be part of today’s game.

Meanwhile, final Group C matches at the ongoing African Nations Championship takes place simultaneously today.

The  Super Eagles will take on Equatorial Guinea’s Nzalang National at the 45, 480 capacity stadium in Agadir while Libya will battle Rwanda in Tangier.

Nigeria tops the group with four points from two games, same with Amavubi’s who are second, based on an alphabetical representation of the team. Libya is third with three points while Equatorial Guinea sits bottom with zero- and elimination confirmed.
A win for Nigeria guarantees a top spot, regardless of the outcome of the game in Tangier between Libya and Rwanda.
