Economist facilitates micro credit fund for 3000

An economists and financial expert, Mr Benedict Olugboyega Alabi, has described his intervention on micro credit facilities as a way to help the people and economy development of Osun state.

Alabi, popularly known as BOA, facilitated Bank of Industry (BOI) Micro Credit Scheme for 3000 beneficiaries in the state.

At the disbursement to another sets of beneficiaries in Ikire, the headquarters of Irewole Local Government Area, the gubernatorial aspirant in the state said the fund will make the people to be financially stable.

According to him, BOI credit facilities has human face, unlike the usual  hook or by crook repayments and the micro economy will thrive as the people are returning and taking more loans.

“I believe this will help in the development of Osun state economy by giving people the chance to establish a sustainable means of income. Eventual increases in disposable income will lead to economic development and growth,” he said.
