The Chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC) Scandinavia chapter, Ayoola Lawal has commended artisans in Ifako Ijaiye Constituency 01 of Lagos State for keeping in business even in the face of such hard economic realities in the country.
The APC Chief gave this commendation during a recent working visit to Lagos State Council of Tradesmen and artisans in Constituency 01 of the State.
During the visitation, Lawal met with Executives of the organization to discuss challenges posing threats to their handworks and how to work collaboratively in trainings and international development for them to be in top speed with the global world.
Ayoola, who shed more light on the role of the government and the roles of artisans (Small and Medium scale Enterprises) in community/ society building and advancement.
In his remark, Chairperson of the association, Mrs. Bankole Adeola thanked the APC Chief for the visit and the opportunities offered for collaborations and the assurance to support them to increase their capacity to adopt new technologies and methods.
His words: “The visit was a great motivation and we look forward to working with you professionally.”
The first Deputy-Chairperson, Mr. Olusode Akeem, and the second Deputy-Chairperson, Chief Ojo Solomn expressed their gratitude for the visit and the offer to work with them especially at the international level.
