The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Scandinavia, Ayoola Lawal has emphasised education as the engine to the success and development of any society.
Lawal made the assertion in Lagos at the Study in Holland Fair 2018, organised for prospective students, educational consultants, recruitment agencies and organisations.
According to him, knowledge and exposure were the bedrock to achieve sustainable development of any country.
“The indisputable fact is that the Netherlands institutions and its government offers you all in one.
“As a living testimony of the Netherlands education and scholarship recipient, I can categorically say that one is never alone in many facets of life anymore, once you are a Netherlands alumnus,’’ he said.
Olusesan Olukoya, the National Coordinator of the Netherlands Alumni Association of Nigeria (NAAN), also stressed that education was vital for the development of any society.
He commended the opportunity created by the fair to assist interested and qualified Nigerians get information and meet one-on-one with representatives of top-rated educational institutions from the Netherlands.
He said that there were more than 2,100 programmes and opportunities available to the students to finance their studies in the Netherlands.
Olukoya also praised Ayoola for ensuring that prospective students and graduates from Ifako Ijaiye Constituency 1, Lagos, who desired to advance their studies in Europe benefitted from the fair.
