LASCODA honours council boss

Chairman of Oto Awori Local Community Development Area (LCDA), Ijanikin, Lagos, Prince Musibau Adekunle Asafa,  has been  honoured by the Lagos State Coconut Development Authority (LASCODA) under the Ministry of Agriculture.

Asafa was recognised over his support for job creation and empowerment scheme, using coconut by – products.

The Commissioner for Agriculture, Hon. Oluwatoyin Suarau presented the Award to Asafa at Johnson Agiri Agric Complex, Agege, Lagos.

The commissioner commended Asafa for creating jobs for our youths using the materials from the coconut in order to fight unemployment in the state.

Reacting to the award Asafa said: “All hands must be on deck to reduce unemployment among youths because an idle mind is the devil’s workshop.”

He also promised to bring more dividends of democracy to the people at the  and alleviate poverty as this is just the tip of the ice berg, he added.
