Council boss lauds Forum of Supervisors

The Chairman of Badagry Local Government, Hon. Olusegun Onilude, has lauded the Chairman of the newly formed forum of Local Government Supervisors’ of Education in Lagos State and Supervisor for Education in the local government, Hon. Olatunji Samson Sunayon over the forum.

Onilude said the formation of the forum would complement efforts of local government chairmen in the development of education sector in the state.

He noted that the objectives of the forum, if properly harnessed, would go a long way in solving most problems associated with the development of the primary education in the local government areas.

“The noble objectives of this forum are commendable as it will bring about an aggregate of issues bothering on the development of the sector in the 20 local government and 37 local council development areas (LCDA) in the state with a view to proffering holistic solutions.

“Your executives must be able to come up with ideas to serve our people better in the area of education. This forum should be used to strengthen co-operation among the council chairmen and not as a vehicle of opposition to the execution of programmes in the councils”,he said.

The council boss, who described Hon. Sunayon as a worthy ambassador of Badagry Local Government, urged him to use his vast political wealth of experience to bear on the forum for socio, political and structural development of education in the state as a whole.
