Ondo gets task force on forest reserve

The Ondo State government yesterday approved the composition of members of the Task Force Committee on Forest Reserve.

It said this would strengthen and protect the Government Forest Reserves (GRAs) across the state.

A statement by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Segun Ajiboye, said the composition of the task force was among recommendations Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu (SAN) approved to strengthen the Ministry of Agriculture.

Members of the task force were said to have been selected on the strength of their antecedent and experience.

They are: Commissioner for Agriculture, Otunba Gboyega Adefarati (Chairman); Pastor Akin Olotu (Coordinator) and Gbenga Atiba (Deputy Coordinator).

Others are: Ademola Lucas, Alliu Olalekan, Mufutau Adeola, Adekanye Akingboye, Emmanuel Bobade and Falodun Monday.

Other members are: representative of the Ministry of Natural Resources, Bola Ogundipe and Segun Odusanya (Acting Permanent Secretary/Secretary).
