Salamotu Aderinokun’s philathropy

IT is no longer news that the deceased Managing Director of GT Bank, Tayo Aderinokun, was married to two women—Olufunlola and Salamatu.

Salamotu in spite of her immense grief over the death of her husband is learning to live without him.

So inseparable were the pair that she went everywhere with him and in return the deceased spared no expense in making her happy and looking after her daughter. Little wonder he left a fortune that can last the mother and child a life time.

In her past time, the managing director, First Marina Trust jogs around the Banana Island Estate, Ikoyi, Lagos, to keep fit.

To keep the memory of the deceased alive, she publicly succumbed to his philanthropic drive in education and commissioned a 500-seater lecture theatre named after the late banker for the University of Lagos’ Faculty of Business Administration.
