As part of the efforts to eradicate the sales of expired food items, drinks and other consumable products on the Nigerian expressways, the President of the Professional Transport Officers Association of Nigeria (PTO), Mr Muyiwa Babalola, has promised passengers and drivers the sales of quality products along expressways.
He made this disclosure while addressing members (hawkers) selling along Lagos – Ibadan and Lokoja – Abuja – Kaduna Expressways respectively including motor parks that all eyes are on them to protect and save lifes and properties of travellers through what they sell and attitude. He stressed that Professional Transport Officers of Nigeria with over 1.2million members is saddled with responsibility of executive protection, routine check and ensuring quality of consumable products in the transportation sector.
