State High Court in Osogbo, Osun State capital, has adjourned till today ruling on an interlocutory order seeking to set aside the election of Senator Ademola Adeleke as Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP’s) governorship candidate for alleged non-submission of his secondary school leaving certificate to its party.
Based on the allegation, two members of the PDP in the state have asked the court to, among other things, stop the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) from accepting the name of Adeleke as the party’s candidate in the September 22 election.
After listening to the submission of counsel to the plaintiffs, Olufemi Ayandokun, Justice David Oladimeji averred that he will need to study the bulk processes filed by the applicants.
The judge adjourned the matter till today.
