A female undergraduate, Fadila Muazu has died one week to her wedding ceremony.
Fadila, who was said to be rounding off her studies at the Usman Dan Fodio University, Sokoto, died in a fatal auto accident.
The bus she was travelling in, according to a source, collided with a truck penultimate Tuesday.
She was said to have died on the spot.
A source said: ‘’The accident happened barely three minutes after her bus took off from the park. She had actually left the campus for home, when a truck ran into the vehicle she boarded killing her instantly. Her wedding ceremony was precisely one week away and her tragic death has left her classmates, friends and relatives in shock.
‘’Her body was evacuated from the scene of the accident by policemen. She has been buried in line with Islamic tenets. She was an epitome of humility.”
