Pax Healthcare Providers to hold congress

The National Association of PAX Health Care Providers (NAPHCP) will hold its National Congress on Thursday, September 13, at St. Leo Catholic Church, Ikeja, Lagos, at 10.30 am.

According to the group’s General Coordinator, Rev. Fr. Anselm Adodo (OSB), the event has as theme: ‘Strengthening capacity for Clinical Research in Herbal Medicine: ‘Challenges and opportunities’.

The chairman of the occasion is the Commissioner of Health, Lagos State, Dr Jide Idris.

The keynote address will be delivered by Professor Babatunde Salako, the Director-General, Nigeria Institute of Medical Research, (NIMR), Yaba, Lagos.

Adodo said the association  comprises medical doctors, pharmacists, nurses, agriculturists, priests and other professionals who are committed to the development of African Herbal Medicine through the initiatives and motivation of Paxherbals.
