Life Continental supports SMEs with N19.5m grant

With a recent grant of N4.5 million given out as grant in Delta state, Small and medium enterprises in the South east have now benefitted a total sum of N19.5 million to grow their businesses. The grant was given by the Life Continental Lager Beer brand

In a statement made available to The Nation, the management of the Life Continental Lager Beer brand said the company has been at the forefront of supporting the entrepreneurial spirit of the Eastern region.

This initiative, now in its fourth year, the statement read, is one of the ways it has deepened the impacts of businesses coming from the region.

It further said the firm’s commitment to giving back to the people of Igbo descent was nothing short of remarkable.

Life Progress Booster, an initiative of Life Continental Lager Beer, and entrepreneurship campaign was focused on rewarding enterprising minds looking to grow their businesses.

“From time past, the Igbo man has always been revered for his industrious nature and the beer brand has brilliantly tapped into this cultural trope and endeared itself to the Igbo audience,” the firm said in the statement.
