Adebutu accuses APC of plots to rig Ogun governorship poll

The factional governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ogun State,  Ladi Adebutu, has accused the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) of plotting to rig this year’s election.

But he assured that his party would thwart such plans.

Adebutu cited the planned elongation of the tenure of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Ibrahim Idris and the alleged compromise of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) with the appointment of Mrs Zakari, who is said to have an affinity with the President, as reasons to suspect that APC planned to rig this year’s elections.
