General Samuel Ifeanyichukwu Momah (CFR, Ph-D) is one of a kind, a retired Army General who is given to the scholarly engagement with an uncannily passion. Since his retirement from service in 1999 after serving 36 years in the Nigeria Army, General Momah has continued to write books.
The General, who once served as a two-time Minister of Science and Technology under Generals Sani Abacha and Abdulsalami Abubakar, wrote “Nigeria: Beyond Divorce” to commemorate his 70th birthday on July 6, 2013. Five years later, July 6, 2018, he wrote two new books,“Pulling Nigeria off the Brinks (The Rescue Imperatives)” and “Restructuring Nigeria Beyond Oil”, which werelaunched to commemorate his 75th birthday on, July 6th 2018.
Now, he is out with his 13th book, titled, “Restructuring to save Nigeria from Post-Oil Disintegration”. The book we hear took six months of research. General Momah,who is also a Ph.D holder in Strategic Thinking comes to the literary world with anintimidating profile; he was a pioneer Director of the National War College, Abuja, and has equally held several appointments in the country, including Adjutant General of the Nigeria Army; and Commander, Training and Doctrine Command. He has held other political appointments like Council Member of the University of Jos and Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka and Vice President, Third World Academy of Science (Italy), among others.
