Apostolic Church Grammar School marks 55

The Apostolic Church Grammar School (APOSTOGRAMS), Orishigun-Ketu, Lagos has marked its 55th anniversary. The school was established in 1964.

To commemorate the event, the old students of the school held a party in the school premises at the weekend.

In his welcome address, President of the Apostolic Grammar School Old Students Association, Mr Ademola Gbosibo, said the celebration had created an opportunity of a reunion for mates who had never met since they left the school, as well as those who had not visited the school since they graduated so as to relieve their experiences as students.

Gbosibo urged the old students to give back to the school by contributing towards its development. He commended some old students that had facilitated the construction of a N100 million e-learning center; donation of computers and 1OO KV generator.

Chairman, Board Governors Pastor Paul Usman, said the school management had embarked on the construction of a 1,300 capacity hall that would be named after Pastor Samuel Adegboyega and Administrative block that would accommodate science laboratories. It would be named after Pastor E. S. Awojide.

The high point of the celebration was appreciation award presented to the old teachers. Free medical test was also provided at the event.
